Teaches a therapist to perform Laser treatments confidently and safely in accordance to health and safety regulations.
Technologies such as laser and intense pulsed light (IPL) will always carry inherent risks such as eye injury or skin burns…as a result it is important that operator’s, owners and associated staff and support personnel, have a minimum level of expertise and education in regard to the hazards and safeguards associated with their use in order to protect their clients, staff and themselves against inadvertent exposure and possible injury as well as minimize risk of litigation.
The AKISS Laser and IPL safety training course is accredited by Queensland Health (ED151) (View Accreditation Here) and is one of the requirements needed before anyone can purchase, use or maintain a Laser system in Queensland. This one day course covers topics such as:
